Privacy

The short version

Dexty uses information you provide and information from sources you choose to connect to maintain your tasks, commitments, notes, and prepared replies. Connecting a source lets Dexty read the information needed to do that work. It does not give Dexty permission to send, change, or delete anything in that source.

Dexty is in private alpha. If anything here is unclear, or you want something removed, use the private support contact supplied with your alpha access.

Information Dexty handles

Account and access information

When you sign in, Dexty receives basic account information needed to identify your account and keep your session secure. Signing in with Google does not, by itself, give Dexty access to Gmail.

Things you add

This includes tasks, notes, corrections, instructions, approvals, and other information you choose to enter.

Connected-source information

If you connect a source, Dexty may process messages, events, participants, attachments, and related details made available by that source. What Dexty can access depends on the connection you enable and its permissions.

Product and technical information

Dexty creates working information such as open loops, plans, draft replies, action records, and source references. It also handles the technical data needed to run and protect the service, including session, sync, diagnostic, and security information.

How the information is used

• To keep your tasks, commitments, and current situation up to date.
• To prepare useful summaries, next steps, and replies for your review.
• To carry out an external action only after the required approval.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Dexty.
• To respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.

Services involved

Dexty uses service providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, and processing. When you connect another service, Dexty also exchanges information with that service to provide the connection you requested. Dexty is designed to pass along the context needed for the task rather than treating connected accounts as a second general-purpose archive.

Dexty does not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Storage, retention, and deletion

During the alpha, Dexty keeps normalized context and product records for as long as they are needed to provide the service or until you ask for deletion. Raw provider payloads are not intentionally kept as a separate long-term archive. Limited operational or audit records may remain where needed for security and accountability, without retaining private message bodies when they are no longer needed.

Disconnecting a source stops future access but is not the same as deleting information Dexty already derived from it. You can ask for account or source-derived information to be deleted by contacting support. Deletion requests also cover Dexty’s derived memory and indexes associated with the deleted material, subject to narrow security or legal retention needs.

Cookies and security

Dexty uses an essential signed session cookie to keep you signed in. The current alpha does not use advertising cookies. Dexty uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect your information, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices

You can disconnect a source, correct information in Dexty, or ask to access or delete information associated with your account. Use the private support contact supplied with your alpha access and contact us from the email address you use with Dexty so we can verify the request.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as Dexty and its connections develop. The effective date at the top will change when the notice does.
